Stockport Events once again entered the Wedding Industry Awards and came out on top! They placed three entries and and were delighted to be shortlisted for all three.
• Best Venue (Historic) – Bramall Hall
• Best Venue (Historic) – Stockport Town Hall
• Best Venue (Other) – Chadkirk Chapel
Unlike other wedding awards these awards are not about the number of votes. This enables suppliers of all sizes to compete on a level playing field.
The Wedding Industry Awards are judged by industry professionals and take into account client feedback, marketing collateral, the nominees’ offer along with many other factors.

“To be shortlisted for all 3 entries was a huge achievement. The North West Regional Awards were held at The Bowden Rooms in Altrincham on Tuesday 11th January where we were awarded Best Venue – other (Chadkirk Chapel) for the entire North West!
Chadkirk Chapel was first licensed for ceremonies in late 2017 with the first wedding taking place in 2018 and the business has grown year on year. It has been a tough two years for our Industry so to receive this award feels particularly special this year. We are really grateful to all our couples that took the time to vote for us and chose our beautiful Venue to celebrate their special day. Our sister Venue Stockport Town Hall won Best Town/City Venue just before the pandemic, so we feel really proud to be able to say that we have two award winning Venues within our portfolio. We are really excited to see what 2022 brings”
